eternal summer...

The weather this weekend was like a gift from above. Just as I was getting sad and blue over the cloudy and grey skies I am given a glimpse of hope. So I smile and begin dreaming of my garden and the things I will plant and the flowers that soon will bloom.

My mind starts racing and I begin fantasizing of the menus and drinks that will be served by the pool...
the days where we wear bathing suits all day long and no shoes are worn. We shower in the backyard eat some grilled food and jump back into the pool...where I nap on towels and pillows and at night we get a perfect breeze where we can build a fire and make some smores.

Yes, I am dreaming of warm weather.
And today's temperature is expected to reach 79.

Maia was watching the clouds, the trees and the birds that flew by when she noticed this tree... She said in the winter we can see the heart of the tree.

She is right in the summer it will be dressed in full regalia and the heart will be hidden.

We are ready for so much...  and speaking of ready Jorge gets home tomorrow from his 10 day tour of Seattle for his Birthday. We've missed him terribly and yes, we have rejoiced in his happiness during his travels but now we are ready for him to come home. Safe travels my boy.

Hope an eternal summer is present in your heart... Have a good week!
