About Perception...

It's not that my head is up in the clouds it's just that my eyes are looking up...way up at the burning trees.

It's not that I am being a loner you can find me at some downtown cafe with my face buried in a book. 

I am also smiling... You can see it if you pay close attention... Right there framed by the glow of my computer screen. You see my feet tapping and you think I am anxious... In reality my mind is in some city rooftop writing songs in my head and my feet are tapping to the beat of it.

I am here... I have not left. Because even when you think I am gone and my mind is away there's always something. Don't worry about me because I am never alone. There are two little girls that make my head spin and one boy that keeps me up at night... Since I... I am always keeping him in my prayers. Reminding all the angels to always guard him. There's a man that has loved me faithfully and constantly. 

I am not alone even when I appear to be...

Because there are photos that need developing and poems to be written... A beautiful moon that shines over me guiding me in the dark. And just as fast... I am back... Wearing my platform shoes the ones that make me feel tall with my eyelids full of glitter and we will chat over wine and candlelight until every bit of lipstick has faded from my lips.

This weekend should be a couple of harmonious and orchestrated alone and accompany days.
