The great thing about being a Mom over and over again it is that you can tweak and redo some things and change some because you are filled with knowledge and experience that can't be bought. Mia's 1st birthday was celebrated exactly how it was meant to be celebrated. Just the five of us... Jorge's 1st Birthday party was huge I learned that not only they have no recollection of the event but it is so uncomfortable for them. They are overwhelmed in large settings and overstimulated at least mine have been when put in such situations. Consequently we went on to celebrate...
Happy Bday Mia Stella... |
Thanks Cathy for her Bday Outfit... |

We made wishes for her and set them off for the universe to hear our pleas. Because we love her so very much. Because I want her to be strong, bold, free and brave... Independent and with the ability to always find her true colors in which she will proudly wave for all to see...
She is the reason behind the blog she has awaken within a wanna be poet, lyricist and writer. She has awaken the photos and images that lived within me and I could only imagine...
I love this picture you can see both their elf ears... |

Time flies she is one years old... She is the last addition to my tribe...

Maia is embarking and moving onto Middle School....
My Sweet Maia...
Maia is my partner in crime... All the pranks and jokes we share...
Jorge is planning on moving to Seattle to finish his studies there...
We are changing... our lives are changing... and although it makes me blue...
I welcome change for it is growth and creativity... independence, strength and boldness...
Hope your 4th of July was nothing but sweet...
