just cruising...

It felt wonderful as I was holding your hand and that old song came on the radio...
and I was singing along to it and you pretended to know the words as well...
the sun was shining a perfect golden light which I kept anticipating as the wheels were moving...
waiting for the cracks on the branches of the trees because these trees are like great canopies...
which remind me of arches... like beautiful wedding arches all lined up for you and me...
as we make this procession on a beautiful afternoon...
nothing big no plans just cruising...

we paint dreams in watercolors and make wishes covered in stardust....
we both have so many wishes and hopes for them...
we also talk about the books we wish to read...

The places we want go...the things that inspires us... and we know the faster our minds travel
the slower time goes by... because it's all relative my love...time is relative...
so we continue walking along traveling young and wiser...
under these trees that I wish could talk.

I am trying to live each moment purposely and mindful...
I am trying to get ready for a new journey and something that was rightfully mine...
but denied myself of it for so long because of fear...
I am glad inspiration is flowing and my mind is traveling...
my heart is wide open...
I am looking forward to the rest of the month of February.

Stay Sweet...

  2. Very Beautiful. I absolutely love the first photo of the trees. I have had a lifelong love of canopied trees. No words can really describe the beauty when you're standing on a canopied path like that.

  5. I too am a freak almost about old typewriters. I made my beau buy the house we live in because when we first looked at it, we peeked into the shop outback and there was an AWESOME old typewriter here and the owners said everything in there came with the house. I cared less about anything else at that point. I was sold. This house was meant for me!

    :-) Beautiful words also!
