About Bribes...

bribe
brīb/Submit
verb
1.
persuade (someone) to act in one's favor, typically illegally or dishonestly, by a gift of money or other inducement.
"an undercover agent bribed the judge into giving a lenient sentence"
synonyms: buy off, pay off, suborn;

I completely understand that bribing is a terrible thing and we should never ever partake in such behavior.  I also understand that after three children I should be a Pro at this thing called motherhood. I know there are better, mature and responsible ways to go around it but bribing her seemed the most logical. I had depleted the whole bags of tricks and I was left defenseless.

 All she wanted was to go meet an alligator princess and all I wanted was to no longer share part of the paycheck with Huggies. In complete agreement and accordance we entered a contract my terribly smart and savvy three year old and I. Since alligators as we all know  hate diapers and Pull Ups we trained for the occasion.  We trained because we knew showing up in a diaper could cause alligators to get extremely angry and not be the most gracious of hosts...

We trained...

Until today when we victorious celebrated with the royal family of alligators that reside in the Tybee Island kingdom. No longer a baby and now moving into the world of toddlers we celebrated with every alligator in the realm. They welcome her even curtsying as she moved through.

 Happy and accomplished she curtsy right back.

It is all well on this side of the kingdom.
It is all well and we are celebrating and rejoicing.

And just like that...
They all lived happily ever after...

Oatland Island...

The Oatland Island Wildlife Center, a unit of the Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools, is located about 15 minutes southeast of downtown Savannah. The Wildlife Center, which uses more than 100 acres of Oatland Island, is both an educational facility and a tourist attraction. Through their various exhibits and natural animal settings, the center educates the public about ecology and conservation.

Happy weekend  and don't forget to take a walk on the wild side.
