Under Pressure...

One thing about stay at home mothers is we don't get coffee breaks or lunch hours or paid vacations that seem rewarding after all the efforts at the end of a calendar year. Mommas that stay at home don't have a union we can vent to and make sure they are regulating and appreciating our time and efforts.

I dare to say we are underpaid, overworked and mostly under-stimulated. Then add a bit of guilt to that mix because most likely someone has made you feel inadequate for voicing such opinions.

I am here to say...
We can roll over or take charge...
"Later hun" as I got my car keys, sunglasses and of course my camera...

I needed someone to make me laugh and I chose...

A few miles driving and five dollars later we were entering the Skidaway Island State Park...

There is something about Mother Nature that always puts me back in my place...

Photobucket

Like a slap in the face with a glove... Challenging me into a duel...
No longer blind and hysterical to my emotions I come into my senses... I return.
Like a knight I was obligated to accept the challenge or be dishonoured...

After a few miles of hiking no choice but to feel humbled...

If under pressure... I suggest a hike....
Opening your eyes to how sweet life can really be...
Maia asked worth five dollars?! It was priceless...

  3. You always capture such precious moments of nature the things that we see but don't notice, the things that if we would just pause for a moment would take out breath away.

  9. Amen Adriana. Nothing cleanses my soul as thoroughly as a meditation on God's beautiful creations. I will often grab my camera and meander out into the back pasture. Something soothing about the shshshhshhhh of the wind in the leaves, the song of the Eastern Bluebird, and the path of the clouds across the sky. Getting back to our roots, and this wide wonderful Earth. Oh, by the way, you ARE appreciated.
