Before The Week Ends...

I am writing to you tonight from a place where a body and mind are just so tired...

Any ideas in how to entertain a 14 month old with a cast?!

I failed to tell you on the last post that her daddy was gone away for work related ventures and this girl is crazy about her dad...  and I struggled with all the work that needed to be done...  But when he walked through the door today her eyes just lit up and I could not help but to be grateful...

I get lost in those eyes...

Tough were the days he was gone and it made me think how in the world did I ever do it with the first one and I was all alone... But I did and I know many of you do as well and for that I celebrate you...

This week I have had very little sleep or time to think... I was able to finally wash my hair tonight and I am back to feeling human again... My house looks like a bomb went off  but that won't stop me... There is so much more... And I am planning to celebrate the end of the summer next weekend with the niece and nephews, grandma and grandpa when they will all come for a visit...

In the meantime I will try to regain some sort of order in our chaos and just be grateful that my partner is back safe and sound and that he is more rested than I am able to help restore harmony and order and clean towels... It is raining in my town and I am thinking of others in northern states and hope the storm misses them just like it missed us...

Happy Weekend Peeps... Stay Sweet!

  1. Oh, poor thing, I just read your last post about the fracture! I do not handle it well when my kids get hurt and I rely so much on my husband, as well. I honestly don't know how single moms do it, I have so much respect for them! I hope you get some much-needed rest and your family has a great weekend safe from the storm...

  3. How is little Mia doing with her wrist? I bet she was so happy to see her daddy. There are times when Morgan will exhaust himself trying to stay awake to see Larry. The two of them adore each other. :) The few times Larry has chosen to work an extra shift Morgan was inconsolable. I can imagine it was the same for little Mia. As soon as she saw Daddy, all was right with her world and his, and thus alright with yours. :) Many blessings sister.

  4. Glad you get a tiny breather, now. Also that the storm passed you guys. Yes, we're getting ready for Irene. Hoping and praying it's a non-event. Take care.

  5. I'm glad you have a sense of completeness today, and you can attack some of the clutter that can wear on a mind...

Luckily, the young, and the young at heart, can see past and through the clutter, to them it just doesn't exist, or matter.

The only order and tidyness they seek, is the structure of love.

(wish i knew how to say that better)
