a swan…paris…the museum… and a giveaway…

Why would anyone make such a big deal about going to the movie theater?

Well, I will…

I have not gone to a movie theater since Carrie Bradshaw wore that big bird on her head and was left at the altar by Mr. Big on her wedding day… to later be married to Mr. Big but this time at the courthouse with no bird on her head to be found. I, like, Carrie Bradshaw exchanged vows at a courthouse. There were no girlfriends, designer dresses or soundtrack music present but it was ours and so exquisite…

Back to the movies…

My friend Cathy took me out to a night at the movies… We watched the Black Swan if your are a ballet dancer or a lover of art this film can be so intense and the word of the day… exquisite…

I always plug my town Savannah,GA there is something about this city… and you guessed it… It’s exquisiteness.
Savannah hosts museum Sundays where every museum, historical park, etc., is free admission.
This girl ran to the Jepson Arts Center but before the museum she stopped at Broughton St…

“I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls off a string.”

We renewed our New Years Resolutions…

Can you see her pointing at hers?!  I told her she should know she is already my star...

  1. Hmmm, I don't feel like my life is very exquisite right now, but my girls are pretty exquisite! :)

Love the photos (as always). I didn't know you live in Savannah. That is one of my top cities to visit one day in the U.S.! I love history and beautiful architecture and from what I hear you have plenty of both. :)

  2. I love that quote: Life is a spell so exquisite . . .

I feel that way when I'm watching a movie. Getting carried away is exquisite. When you can loose yourself, rid yourself of the physical and let someone take you on a journey to other worlds you could have never imagined on your own. That sensation is exquisite to me and I search for it daily.

  5. This sounds like the perfect day. I haven't been to the theater since last year. . . there was this little theater where I used to live that charged $2 a ticket and I loved going there. . . but now it's so expensive. I wish they'd play old movies in theaters.

I'm not too far from Atlanta, but I've never been to Savannah. I want to go someday.

  8. New follower! Love your blog already and see plenty of gorgeous things you posted today - I KNOW I'll love coming back here in the future!

Exquisite in my life right now - sitting at home every day and working across the room from the greatest love I've ever known. Being blessed with the last several months of being a work at home mom and lover to the best man God could have given ME! That makes each and every day exquisite for me!

  9. Exquisite, easy right now it's the weather. Skies sucha bright blue that could never be found in a crayola box and temps in the 70s with a breeze so perfect that even Thoreau would have a hard time capturing it's beauty in words... And beauitulf cherry blossoms, the like I've never seen in earlY February.
Exquisite is the only way to describe the sublime early spring we are experiencing here in California. :-)
