Finally everything has reached the stillness we needed. The promise that soon we get a few days with no time constriction free of schedules makes me happy. I like waking up late and going to sleep much later. I've never been too good at following any kind of rules but the one rule I never break is feeding my body right. I like really good food and I am a snob about quality ingredients and flavors. The opportunity of visiting the Farmers Market before Thanksgiving is like a pilgrimage to someplace sacred.
And I am easy... and I get seduced by the fresh local organic eggs, artisan breads, hand-churned butter and cheese. Words like Wildflower Honey and Tupelo Honey. The taste and words run around in my mouth and yes... Life is sweet.
You know what else I love?! A Chick rocking a Mohawk... Because it's all about breaking some of the rules.
Your handwriting, the way you walk and talk... The china pattern you choose. Your mannerisms... like fingerprints. It's all giving you away. Everything you do shows your hand. Everything is a self portrait revealing your nature and who you are. Be proud of who you are of the diary we get to read.
Martini Break...
Savannah Honey Bee Vanilla Martini
In shaker mix…
Ice, 1 ounce of Vanilla flavored Vodka, 1 ounce of Milk…
On glass lattice pattern some Savannah Honey and cover rim of glass with honey and crumbled graham cracker.
Top with a dollop of Whip Cream.
I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Please stay sweet.
