About The Other Side Of The Moon...

I can sense the summer season slipping through. When I woke up today I could feel a small and faint cool wind in the air putting an end to another season. Between sunshine and downpours the week went by so quickly but not without changes. At the moment I am drawn to all things that reflect feminine power reading some Flannery O'Connor and understanding what the words mean like never before. Her words and her characters are so powerful and she continues to influence me fueling my romance with the good ole south.

Because the power of feminine is amazing and women have being conditioned for thousands of years and this is no longer an excuse to learn from ourselves, our daughters, mothers and sisters. I now understand that there is something fundamentally wrong with a woman that believes she can't get along with other women. All I can do is suggest that we all look hard and dig deep within self because your strength goes way beyond the word strong.

That strength that we sometimes hide so far and out of sight as if we are placing it behind the moon. But is that moonlight kind of strength that so many take for granted until they are left in total darkness. It is only then that such delicate light becomes a powerful beacon.

  8. Thanks for stopping by the S&R Hop. I always love your beautiful posts! And I absolutely agree that all women should be able to get along. One of the things that I miss seeing the most from the south is the "moss". Loved your first picture! I will try to still capture my goddess this weekend. Have a wonderful week!

  10. Wow, it looks so gloomy:( But it's soon to be gloomy here too. I do like the beginning of the autumn though, when the leaves get colors and the air is fresh without being too cold.
    Love your nail polish!!!
