I packed the car with 1 husband , 2 girls and 3 bags and I drove to Tybee Island.
Some people have to drive hundreds of miles to reach a coast.
I drive 20 minutes and I have wide open spaces.
The tide was as its lowest point making the ocean seen infinite but reachable. We could walk for miles off the shore and the water would not reach our knees.
About 2 miles from the shore Ms.M and I spot what seemed like an island. An island filled with nothing but seagulls and just about every bird that sits in our coastal area. We share an adventure driven spirit so we walked to it. We knew nothing but pure magic would be ours at the end of those two miles.
So worth it...
Living in the sun, swimming the sea and drinking the air in one gulp.
Art is everywhere..
As we are leaving the beach the sun is setting and I noticed all the tiny lights on the hotels lighting up the shore. I smiled because after all they will have to go home but I get to visit anytime.
Wishing you a great start to the week... Stay Sweet!
