Maybe the military or FBI would make a move through our gorgeous windows.
It should had been illegal I thought...

Food for miles and as far as our eyes could see which made me feel blessed and grateful but mindful of the many that don't have this much.
I felt as if I was stealing the bounty of others...
The happiness of being surrounded by so many loved ones and the pride I felt after I delivered the perfect turkey...

The golden light reflecting on their faces the calmness and stillness...
I felt my heart could burst of so much I have been bestow upon...
Why do I question such serenity...
Why do we feel like we are being tricked if everything is going alright...
I take a deep breath and breathe it all out...

Looks like you had an awesome Thanksgiving. Love the pictures. Nice looking family. Being blessing is a priviledged many take advantage of. But you are so right to give thanks.

Being Canadian, we had our Thanksgiving in early October, but thanks for this reminder that we should continue to be thankful for what we have.

ReplyDeleteThe beauty of nature = food for the spirit.
I am so lucky to have a wonderful cousin such as yourself that thinks like I do. When we have so much food in front of us, we think of the many that doesn't. I often wondered if others thought like I did...during a celebration or holiday enjoying so much food with many people around us...do others also remember the many that are not blessed in that way.
