The weekend was so busy and fast to the point it made me miss my family even though I was home at the end of each of day.
I missed their kisses, voices and all the mundane things that goes on in my simple day. I did consume and gulped my friends and city up but something about this tribe I have created that leaves me completely satisfied.
They are everything I want and need.
I wrote some lines on a piece of paper... strokes that no one will ever see. I snapped some images that moved me... Some which made me question the nature of people. Those images are mine and will probably never see the light of day but they are a testament and witness of my path as I walk through life...
At times I would blink and it seemed as if I could make time stand still... but then I would breathe in and the moment was gone...
Sunday rolled around and gave me what I wanted and needed.
Today I am quiet. Today I am cleaning. I am now looking forward to the next weekend. A weekend that is slow like the coming of winter to the south... Where we roll out of bed brew some coffee and linger until the afternoon in our pj's.
Hoping your weekend was as exquisite as this sunset...
Happy Monday Peeps!
