Fiesta Time...

We have visited many festivals and art exhibits here in Savannah. We went to the Scottish Festival, Irish, Asian, Greek, Jewish and now it was Latin America's turn...

Maybe I am biased in my opinion but Latin Americans know how to party. The festival is colourful  the food delicious and its people are fun with a capital F.

When you live in the south of the USA a little Latin flavour is welcomed and I did not know how hungry and thirsty my soul was of those Latin rhythms and interactions until that day...

Starving I arrived at River Street where it was obvious that the Latin American persuasion had taken over for the day...

My kids danced, ate, shopped and learned and although they are very proud of their southern heritage there is Latin blood running through their veins and I wish for them to never disconnect from those traditions...

The festival has quenched my thirst we all know that is a temporary situation but knowing that the festival will be back next year makes my city dearer to me...

Take time to enjoy what your city has to offer all it took was 20.00 dollars to eat buy a few trinkets and we even danced off what we ate...

  1. NICE!!! Looks like my kind of festival! I just tried the inca cola the other day, too. My friend is Peruvian and she "made" me try it; otherwise you know how offended we can get when we offer food and it's not taken :)

  5. Great pics and the music got me pumped up, lol. You are absolutely right, they do know how to party. My cousin married a Puertorican, I didn't get to attend because she lives out of state and it's quite a distance away. I did hear though, it was a blast. Lot's of salsa dancing. I wish I could have experienced it. Anyway, I am following you through the blog hop, please feel free to come follow mine as well http://skylarinc.blogspot.com/.

    Thanks,
