I've began typing this a thousand times and a thousand times words have failed me... I love adjectives for they make each sentence more alive and I use many of them because I always want you to catch my drift...
Like a poet loves breaks on a page to show some emphasis on a thought... I keep looking for my adjectives to describe the flood of beautiful , funny and magical moments we are able to create if we chose...
the weekend began on Friday at 4am my cousin showed up with the sunrise but it has been 20 years since I last saw her and I was eager and hopeful and longing for her company for way too long and so she was impulsive like most of the women in my family she came to me as soon as she could. We hugged as the sun was coming up we also shared as many stories as we could fit into before the sun came all the way up... we took naps in intervals and like college girls we continued trading stories. waiting on my other cousin that was driving from NYC.
Sometimes words can really take away from pure magic...

My Family- Tybee Island , GA |
Words at times are just too much...
So I will let my images speak...
Mia Stella's ceremony by the sea was magic...

Tybee Island, GA |

My cousins Angelique, Alma, My lovely friend Deedee, me and Juli |
|
My lovely friends that travelled to spend the day with us... |
|
Their beautiful Baby TJ and Mia obsessed with his cuteness... |
|
Friends from far and near came out... Gigi & Tracie

So many more images from the ceremony that are still floating around that I've yet to see and will later share...
Father's Day 2011 Savannah, GA
Sunday all ten of us got up and went down to City Market to have brunch and celebrate Father's Day trying to soak all up the sweet nectar... We knew our biggest enemy also known as time was flying and the time was near for them to depart... I could not let them go without seeing my little town and its historic district...
|
My cousin with her baby |
|
The girls...
Sharing the magic of my Georgia with them... |
|
PB&J Yep, that should be their nickname... |
|
She always oblige when I ask her to pose for a picture =) |

See?! A ham... |

City Market, Savannah, GA
And this is the reason why I have not posted... life was good to me for being a good girl I think... and it rewarded me with my childhood playmates and new friendships and bonds were created and lovely children were at play and like the bee I drank all the sweet nectar...
My family and me with a sassy face... but who wouldn't when you know for a fact that life is sweet.
Later peeps... Hope the weekend was nothing but sweet.
