Anita turned twenty nine ahhhh 29… Cathy turned 37 and Candace 46 ahhhh the wisdom that comes with reaching great heights… these 3 women are so unique they are all so powerful and beautiful and they need to know that.
Happy Birthday ladies…
I celebrate each one of you and your spirit.
I am fortunate to be surrounded by such diversity, wisdom and friendship and for that… I thank my lucky stars...So many women out there find it hard to connect with other women and I continue to find sisterhood while embracing my inner strength and the power of being a woman.
Then there's this girl…
Savannah cooperated with this Momma blessing us with the perfect summer weather for my girl and her friends…
We (hubby and i ) took the place of observant, cook and cabana boy... something you can’t do when your children are smaller because they are not sophisticated enough to verbalize emotions and gratitude.
Dislikes and disapproval…
And because you can’t space out by a pool with non swimmers...
the girls ate so much fruit...summer parties are the best... |
Girls as I have mentioned before are filled with such complexity and sentimental emotions.
She was so grateful and touched to be presented with handmade jewelry from one of her besties…
Each time she opened a card addressed to her was a proclamation of my already formed thought process… each envelope was addressed: to one of the coolest girls, to an amazing girl, to a very smart and funny girl… every time I heard such proclamations… my heart grew larger.
even if awesome is misspelled its still awesome... |
Because they see what I see in her...
She is amazing, cool, smart, funny, nice, kind , a good girlfriend and because she continues to teach me each day how to be a better person…
Out of my three children she was the only one that I birthed naturally and that I witnessed come to this world fully present and aware…
She came to me with no complications…
She showed me each step and in each stage of my pregnancy…
In that delivery room I felt for the first and the last time what it is to birth naturally and for that I am truly grateful to her…At twenty seven she changed me forever and only then and there I felt the goddess that resided within me…the creatrix.
She is more concerned with quality vs. quantity…
And each time they jumped in the pool in the name of friendship it was like an anthem for all things that makes
Girls Cool and Boys Drool…
Girls... they really just want to have fun… and all we need to do as parents is…

love unconditionally, trust, guide and be present… the rest is all up to them…

And, your comment about birthing your daughter made me tear up. I wanted so badly to have a natural birth with my son, but it didn't work out. I only hope that someday I can be as strong as you and get to experience what it feels like to do that.
