pies and outer space…

I love when I have a chance to space out in time and space and everything for one moment seems to stand still and gives me clarity and all these epiphanies of things said, done and undone pop up and tie themselves like a spider web almost like a game of word association but with thought…
I think of the pie I am making for dinner and the thought of pie evokes the thought of cake which I love to make but is also the nickname I gave my husband which makes me then think of the pictures I took of him with my daughter which makes me think of when I was small and how much I miss my father and how I’ve wish that he would have been better to himself and his body which then takes me back to my original thought of the pie I was going to be baking for supper which by the way is not that healthy because I put a crust on my Shepherd’s pie which might be the reason why there is no sign of me losing the weight after the birth of the baby… outer space is exhausting.
