The fact that some things are just perfectly made and created leaves me humble and in awe. When you take for example the seasons and how they change and how nothing stays the same is comforting. Although we tend to think we are creatures of habit it is not until a new season starts that we start craving the next one and so on. This suits me just fine. I get tired of monotony of things that don't go up and down. I know life needs to be experienced fully and in each one of the gammas to be truly appreciated. During the Fall season I do things that take on the whole meaning of Fall...
The most wonderful moments are those where we give and take and we create a perfect synergy and a balance... an exchange. An equal exchange. Most times we walk around taking and not returning and this trickles into our everyday lives. Into every action, reaction and inevitable into any relationship we might embark. The point of any relationship is to give as much as we get without depleting and cheating ourselves of self love.
So I invest heavily on them... and their friends... and the things that are important to them... and in return they show appreciation with plenty of grace.
Not far from us we have Ottawa Farms during the Spring THE place to go strawberry picking. During the Fall THE place to go through a 10 acre corn maze.
We went on a Sunday and the earth became our place of worship. Where we were reminded not only of the perfect planet we inhabit but all of the sacrifices of our ancestors had made.
Where else can you get Moonshine Jelly?!
Because not only corn is powerful, resourceful and necessary but if you grew up in the 1980's you know how freakin creepy a corn field can be. Thank you "Children of The Corn"!
Happy Monday peeps and please stay sweet.
