For example...
I had to get up already while typing this post because Mia decided to play in the toilet with a washcloth to bathe the cat.
So...
1 hour later I am back... Of course after bathing her, the cat and the bathroom floor.
Yesterday we had a ...Oh so quiet... Oh so still... moment around the house. Knowing my kids so well I grabbed the camera and tiptoed to my room ... My finding? She had taken all my glitter makeup and she wore it proudly. So I took pictures.
Because after 20 years of motherhood that is the most sound advice I can give...
Keep record of everything just in case your memory fails you...
There's something else I know quite well. That is the city where I reside. Today my city spoke to me. It said: Even though you know it's not easy to pack a car, pack the kids and face traffic please visit the heart of your city.
So I did...
Savannah's City Fountains are dressed in green for St. Patty's. |
The weather 79 degrees of clear blue skies and all the Azaleas are in full bloom. Walking through Forsyth Park which I consider to be Savannah's heart and the center of our downtown district it's magical.
Mia and Friend. |
The artists creating beautiful pieces... The flowers... The live oaks with Spanish moss dripping off each branch.
It makes me feel at home.
Balancing act |
No longer emotionally homeless I embrace the city where I witnessed the birth of my two daughters. Both of my girls are Savanniahns born and will be raised here. I can't imagine a more beautiful and enchanting place to be.
So if you are unfulfilled in a town lacking beauty and culture...
May I recommend... Savannah, GA.
The husband comes home tomorrow and his birthday is tomorrow as well. I will be celebrating his birthday with more intents and purpose. I am forever grateful of the father, the husband and the friend he is.
From beautiful Savannah...
Happy Midweek peeps and please... Stay Sweet!
