Legends Of The Fall...

Driving downtown to pick up Maia from her theater rehearsal as the sun was setting behind me...
I turn the radio up and begin to sing out loud and off key...

These moments when I am so happy for no reason whatsoever I tell myself please make note of this time and space. Promising to myself that as soon as I would get home I would make note of it as a reminder when life is all shades of grey...

Stream of consciousness...
I met my sons auntie when I was 15 years of age... later I married her older brother... much later we divorced... 24 years after our initial meeting so much history and many stories our friendship continues...
She is visiting from Seattle and embarking on a road trip with my son heading south to spend thanksgiving with the rest of my sons family. This is the first time he does not spend the holiday with me so we had an impromptu feast...

Because any day is good to be thankful and we have so much to be thankful for...

Nietzsche once said "All truly great thoughts are conceived while walking"...

She is on the go... She does not want to hold hands or walk softly she is like an angry lover when she walks. She won't look at you in hopes you are not watching her go and go. She wants no limits or boundaries. She wants to go...

My gerber daisy that only blooms at the end of fall one single bud one single flower for the past 7 years...
Something comfortable about knowing that much. Every end of Fall there she is...

Weekend is almost upon us and next week its a holiday week. Family and friends will be around and I can't wait. Our turkey this year will be served and eaten by the Savannah river which can only mean one thing... Great pictures.
