A Fashion Celebration...

Savannah is getting ready for Fashion's Night Out. From Manhattan to Milan, Atlanta to Australia. What I love about the concept is not only the fashion but the fact that woman through out the world gather to take back those cities and their shopping districts at evening hours. Empowered and ready to support the local economy as well as local designers and many renowned designers.

Fashion to me is art it is the way we chose to distinguish ourselves from others. We adorn ourselves according to who we are and our personality. We see ourselves and how we have evolved through fashion. When we look back at pictures of the yesterday often we say...
Did I really wear that?! Was my hair really that big?

Because we change and we evolve just like fashion has done through out the years.

Even when we say we don't care about fashion we dress every morning with hopes it makes us feel our best. Since I celebrate all the sweet things in life today I celebrate fashion.

Why?

Because fashion is a means of self expression allowing many to try on many roles as they walk through life. One of the best ways in which we celebrate diversity and uniqueness. Fashion like us- evolves and changes keeping life interesting. Keeping ideas growing while supporting an industry of skilled laborious workers and artists and allowing our imaginations to run free.

So what are you waiting for... Express yourself and support your local economy if Fashion Night Out is in your town go out even if it's window shopping and take back the night...
