Wild Horses...

My father used to say I was like a wild horse... It was no compliment... I, on the other hand have always loved the imagery of wild horses... Wild horses galloping strong and free with nothing to fear and with freedom on their side... Accused of being wild, untamed and free I would at times suppress my soul...

Through time I have heard how women are often accused of being hysterical which by the way means and is rooted in the 1610s, from L. hystericus  "of the womb," from Gk. hysterikos  "of the womb, suffering in the womb," from hystera  "womb"Originally defined as a neurotic condition peculiar to women and thought to be caused by a dysfunction of the uterus. Great propaganda for woman don't you think?

Too emotional, too weak, too fragile, too verbal...
We are always "too" much of everything or something for society to deal with...

Savannah, GA... I went out on Saturday...

But this is how I want them... wild and free... untamed... with a fire that burns oh so bright within them... I am not putting that fire out... I want it to burn bright for all to see... Because that fire that burns within us is passion is creativity boldness and self assurance that is something you can't buy... And this is the reason why they are swimming late at night... Eating roasted marshmallows as if it was a succulent flambĂ©...

On Wednesday my niece arrives she is the daughter of my kid brother the only child he left behind... She is visiting us and we are anxious as well as excited...This is the first time she visits us... I heard she too is a free spirit and I also heard she is strong and independent but quite engaging... I look forward in getting to know her it will be great to love on her like I used to love on him...

My home by the end of the week will be filled with wild horses or better yet wild fillies... There won't be a reason to wrangle them... I will feed their fire daily... I vow to let them be... wild...free... and untamed...

Best idea yet... Putting a disco ball in the backyard... During the day when the sun hits it you can't help but to bust a move... At night when the light-bulbs hit is a disco party...

Have a great week Peeps!

It is ironic...somebody just made me a dvd dedicated to Kay...and they had "Wild Horse" galloping thru-out the entire film.

    "wild and free... untamed..."

    xxxx Kiss for You.

  17. I too thought a wild horse was always a creature to be admired. Now I know why I love your spirit :) I'm so glad you're going to get time with your niece. It's wonderful that you can have the best part of your brother in your home, even if it's for a little while, to love and dote on. She looks like an absolute doll....

  19. Great pictures and I think children SHOULD have a "wild horses" spirit. There is enough in an adult's life to bog us down, children shouldn't have to have worries..

  20. Love your pics...

Oh yeah, we women open our mouths definitely more than men but its a way of expressing how we feel though there are times when we say something before thinking the consequences of what's going to come out of our mouths... ♥

And I believe we have the spirit of wild horses in all of us and every now and then we tend to put it on display for the whole world to see ♥
