My girl is inspired by Shakespeare Midsummers Nightdream and so she thought this would be a good idea... |
For some reason the words Midsummer's, faeries, fire, ocean, beach, sand and some of my oldest friend's names keep popping up in random conversations and these are the signs of what is to come. When we have such words in our vocabulary on a daily basis it's only reassuring me like that one song says...
I am walking on sunshine and feeling fine.
our new header... |
Would be easy for me to get upset at the fact that my kitchen oven is falling apart and it's being held by some contraption and my dishwasher has been possessed for months now and all my dishes have to be wash by hand with a family of 5 that's a lot of dishes... But what would be the point... It is not easy to find happiness within ourselves and it is not possible to find it elsewhere... So, I am buying some green and environmentally friendly paper plates and my guests and I can feast on them...
After all my cooking will justify the dinnerware...
I continue with the plans give wings to my imagination and the decorations and making sure the important things like... ice and syrup to make snow cones are well stocked... ribbons, fruit and wine for the beach celebrations... enough peeps that can handle a camera and are able to take pictures while I am too busy soaking it all up... because I can't miss a thing and wish to relive it.
Because soon enough it will be winter and then we can look back at the pictures of that perfect Midsummer's day on a island off the coast of Georgia and once again I will feel like I am walking on sunshine...
Hope your weekend was filled with sweetness...
